Come and Sing

Saturday 4 February 2017

Selly Oak Methodist Church, Langleys Road, Selly Oak, Birmingham B29 6HT MAP

We had another very successful Come and Sing on Saturday 4th February 2017 to which visitors came to sing choruses from Mozart's Coronation Mass.

A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon was spent making music under the inspirational direction of Paul Spicer, in congenial company and refreshed by the renowned Bach Choir teas!

Details of our next Come and Sing event will be available later in the year.

“I came to the Come and Sing event last week and really enjoyed the experience. The [first] two hours whizzed by under the excellent direction of Paul Spicer who seemed pretty happy with the 300 strong choir. I had a great afternoon and absolutely would recommend anyone that is thinking abut doing this sort of thing to go ahead and do it... and the cake was as good as I hoped it would be!”Claire Gilliam

"A huge thank you to you all and Paul Spicer for an enjoyable and uplifting afternoon. It was great to sing with so many other like-minded people, meet old friends and make new ones...and I have never seen so much cake in one place at one time!" Angela Bryan

"Thank you for the excellent workshop/performance...a lovely supportive atmosphere and some inspiring teaching from Paul Spicer who is to be commended on encouraging but demanding work from the choir. And truly a renowned tea." Pauline Banks
