Come and Sing! invites singers from all around the Midlands to meet us and join us for an afternoon of singing and a splendid tea in February directed by Paul Spicer.

ANNUAL FORMAL DINNER

Annual formal dinner for choir members, past members and their guests with guest speakers.

2017 Julian Lloyd Webber (renowned cellist and Principal of Birmingham Conservatiore)

SPECIAL EVENTS

Each year there are exceptional invitations to the Choir to perform at special events.

Early this year, 2019, some of the choir were honoured to sing at the funeral of our Patron, the composer John Joubert, alongside singers from Ex-Cathedra.

March 2019 another small group from the Choir were asked by the Foreign Office to sing at the dedication of the new Memorial for the victims of Sousse & Bardo (Tunisia) presided over by Prince Harry. 
Members of the Choir also sing carols at the QE each year to raise money for QE charities.

Choir Tours approx every 3 yrs

2010 Tuscany, (on this occasion led by Neil Ferris.)

2013 Dresden, Germany (led by Paul Spicer)

2019 northern France: Rouen, Chartres, Lisieux & Honfleur ( led by Paul Spicer)

SUMMER PARTY

The Choir usually holds a party for choir members and their partners at the end of each year’s activity.
This year, our centenary, it was held again in beautiful sunshine in the gardens of Paul Spicer’s house.
